Well the day we were all waiting for, a late cry off from lachie with a bout of sickness meant he missed out on the final.

Everything was ready, i had my pre match meal at the elms,(steak) oranges, jaffas(not simon)  hot soup, pats payment for socks(thanks pat), suthers and the mini bus(including the selby family) got to the ground early to soak up the atmosphire, the cd was played and i think trevor had best song with oh carol!

We started ok but found ourselves under pressure, the formation needed changing, it was to late, we were 2-0 down, and the players were getting excited, half time couldn't come quick enough.

Hot soup was drunk, it always gives them a lift, a few changes to the team and a different formation saw us compete better and in fact dominate the game, a few unlucky chances, but a bit of luck came our way with a great cross saw a blackmore defender head into his own net to give us hope for the last 10 mins, alass it wasn't to be, 2-1 the final score.

Ok no one likes to lose, but i feel we done ourselves justice, and the team this season have been great.
